Invisalign

If traditional orthodontics (brackets and wires) is not your thing, no worries! We have you covered. With our Invisalign services, you can enjoy the benefits of orthodontic procedures minus the hardware.

A 3D image of your teeth will be taken in order to make the Invisalign aligners. The aligners are trimmed to fit the unique gumline of each patient. Then, there is a final quality check for aligner construction and comfort.

Invisalign aligners are, as the name suggests, practically invisible! You can remove them for meals, photos, or at other necessary times. They are easy to clean, easy to use, and deliver spectacular results!

While the Invisalign procedure cannot treat all orthodontic conditions, it can treat some of the most common.

The condition known as crowded teeth is when the teeth have bunched up and overlapped other teeth due to insufficient space in the mouth. Crowded teeth can lead to accelerated tooth decay because the condition makes it more difficult to adequately brush and floss. The good news is, this is a condition where Invisalign is just as efficient as traditional orthodontic brackets and wires!

An overbite occurs when the upper front teeth naturally overlap the bottom front teeth when the mouth is closed. This condition is associated with increased tooth wear and jaw pain.

The underbite is just the opposite of the overbite; the lower front teeth naturally overlap the upper front teeth when the mouth is closed. Similar to the overbite, the underbite can cause increased wear on the teeth, but it can also affect speech.

Gap teeth can contribute to gum disease when food gets trapped between the teeth and flossing is irregular. This condition is sometimes fixed using veneers or dental bonding, but the Invisalign procedure can provide a more natural and permanent solution.

The crossbite is when top and bottom teeth do not align. This condition can cause chipped teeth and can even lead to bone loss.

The open bite is when there is an opening between the upper and lower rows of teeth when the mouth is shut tight. This condition can make it difficult to chew certain types of food.

If you suffer from any of the above, Invisalign could be the solution for you! Talk with Dr. Javadi about your options today!
